Orange Technical College - Educating Since 1933Originally named the Orlando Vocational School, Orange Technical College opened its doors in 1933, right in the heart of Central Florida on Rosalind Street offering select trade programs. As one of the leading and most impactful technical school networks in Central Florida, the mission of OTC has always been to put students first, and provide businesses with productive and dynamic talent of all ages, background and skills.

As the local demand for a technically minded workforce grew, OTC opened a second campus location, the Mid Florida Technical Institute in 1963, now known as the Orange Technical College – Mid Florida Campus.

The Orlando Vocational School moved in 1981, becoming Orlando Tech and now the Orange Technical College – Orlando Campus on Amelia Street.
